Who should apply for the BioPath Internship Program?

If you are a high school junior looking to launch a full-time career in biotech after graduation, this is the program for you! Read through the candidate profile and attributes on the main BioPath page.

Will I get paid? 

Yes, this is a paid internship with hourly compensation. 


Will I receive school credit for this? Is there a certificate at the end of the program? 

High school credit and college credit will be earned through participating schools. You will also receive an official Foundation of Biomanufacturing Certificate. 


How long is the program? What are the hours each week? 

The program lasts one school year – the equivalent of 32 weeks. Interns work 2.5 hours per day, twice a week for a total of 5 hours per week.

When will I know if I've been selected? What happens next? 

We will select interns for the fall 2021 semester in May 2021. After an interview process and resume review, our recruiting team will reach out to you to let you know whether or not you've been selected. 


I've never done an internship before. What can I expect? 

This is a common question for new interns. At AGC Biologics, we are a very encouraging group who know what it’s like to forge a new path. We will help you succeed by providing the tools, training and feedback you need for a positive learning experience that can potentially help launch your career here at AGC Biologics after high school.  


How will I know if I'm doing a good job? 

Our mentors and managers will guide you through the internship experience by providing timely feedback and encouraging you to ask questions. We foster a culture where you can learn and grow from making mistakes and asking questions – that is what an internship experience is all about! 


Is there parking? 

Yes, parking is available directly outside of every building on our Bothell campus. 


What should I wear? 

AGC Biologics is a business casual environment, which means a nice shirt, nice jeans, pants or skirt, and comfortable shoes are acceptable. 


What happens when the internship is complete?
